The name ECCO 88 is an homage to the work of Dr. John Lilly who was a scientist, writer, and the inventor of the sensory deprivation tank. His life and writings bridged the worlds of science and mysticism. Lilly’s self guided experiments in isolation allowed him to explore non-ordinary states of consciousness where he encountered what the ancients called the network of angels. The unseen forces responsible for coordinating what we experience as synchronicities in our reality. Dr. Lilly named them ECCO: Earth Coincidence Control Office.
